So glad this was free

Indulge only gets two stars because of the first 40ish percent. And from there? Really wish I could give zero.
I enjoyed how they met and the chemistry between them at the resort. But OY, over one stupid misunderstanding that could have been cleared up in ten seconds, the heroine starts down a path that is so ugly to me. Knowing his background and how he was hurt, she makes awful, selfish choices and pretty much made me hate her.
I think what worked against the author in the last 50% is switching POVs. Beau fell very flat for me, and I never felt a whole lot of emotion from him. The timeline skips SO MUCH in the second half of the book that I had whiplash.
So I finished, but I was very disappointed after what was a promising start.

Not worth the money

I very rarely leave a bad review. If I don't like a book, I just move and look for another one. BUT this book is another story. I did not like anything about this book. The writing was almost juvenile, the characters were completely one dimensional and the inner monologues were distracting. The main characters never progress enough for me to truly care about what happens to them. The "plot twist" was a simple misunderstanding that could have been cleared up with a short conversation, but in her mind it somehow justified it being okay to not tell the guy he had a child and had planned to continually keep the child from him because she did not like or approve of his lifestyle. Okay, bad enough, but then she cheats on her fiancé about 3-4 times when the "hero" comes back into her life. And the final straw for me, when the fiancé was leaving the house to go to work, he says to Beau, (the father) "we decided we were going to have Clark call me Dad". This story was so twisted crazy, I just got more and more frustrated throughout. This is the first book I read by this author and it will be the last.

Glad it was only 99 cents. Like her books but just wasn't feeling it with this story. Found myself putting it down with no big desire to pick my Kindle up to continue on. Just forced myself to finish it because I find them to be predictable. Sin trilogy was a bit far fetched but I liked it, felt the same with this story. I am beginning to feel like Georgia writes too quickly before thinking the story through. The first of her books I read was also a trilogy. The guy came off in the beginning as the alpha, but before it was complete he seemed to act immature. As an author, she has a lot of potential but she just isn't quite there yet with her stories. I hope she continues her journey as an author because I truly believe she loves what she's doing but personally, I am not sure if I will be so quick to read her books anymore, something there seems to be lacking for me.
