I'm not going to lie at first I thought this was going to be some book about sophisticated woman meets ex drug dealer and then they live boring lives....but hell to the no. This was a book about a down ass female that knew how to keep it classy while still being street smart. Don't sleep on this one, Sean was a walking dream come true. Shay was the type of friend we all have or wish we had. Now Sarah was most definitely a friend that we have or had. Now that ending is the mystery I can't wait to find out in part 2. This was my first-time reading anything from this author but it won't be my last.

This book was good. But what I didn't like you kept telling the same scene over. Like both Sean and Shawna, she would tell her side then get to Sean and he is telling the same scene over. You should put the name at the beginning of each chapter instead of jumping from one character too other. I feel like we should of heard from Shay, Jacob, Sarah instead of just Sean and Shawna. But other than that this was good maybe your next book would be better. I still support ready for part 2

I loved this book, i loved the characters so much, this book wasnt the typical "model" looking designer name trying to graduate and become a RN taking care of the deadbeat fashionista crazy baby mama book. It was refreshing to read about a woman doing something great from the beginning who's mom wasnt on drugs and grew up poor. Highly recommended.
