The Book to read!

I teach a book study at a rehab. The AA Big Book is wonderful but it was written in 1939 by a doctor, lawyer and psychologist and can be hard to understand at times. This book was written in 1969 by addicts. The Big Book doesn't speak much to relapse but this does. Relapse happens but doesn't need to. This book discusses it in length.This is for any addict whether heroine, Percocet or alcohol. A drug is a drug. The Big Book of AA didn't know much of drug addiction in the 30's. This book says "alcohol is a drug". A must read for addicts and alcoholics alike.

I am a Holistic Nutrition Student and this was a required book, When I received it, I was a bit intimidated by the Volume of Info. But, it is AMAZING! It is loaded full of all you really need to know about food and nutrition. Everything is well categorized and layout out for easy access. When you look up a food, it gives you nutrition breakdown, how to shop for, store, and cooking suggestions and recipes. Best nutrition book I have read by Far !!!

Excellent book~!!! One needs tot be dedicated to a drastic change in eating and eating habits. It is bigger than the Bible, over 800 pages! Super excellent advice on all healthy foods, how to buy, cook and store,nutritional breakdown. Emphasis on natural and organic fruits and vegetables.
It is definitely an healthy new way to live!!

Oh my gosh, what a find. It is uncanny that the detailed info in this 2007 book is what is put forth as the most advanced thought of today. As if all of today's current food science authors use this for their source book. More clearly written and absorbing too. A 100 healthiest foods list, an eating plan, and many health and nutrition secrets revealed. A good companion to the "How Not to Die" book by Michael Greger. How one person could write all this in one lifetime is beyond belief. This monster tome weighs in at almost 4.5 lbs (2 kg), so hope you get it free shipping or at most book rate.

The book takes you step by step through the whole process, commencing with waste collection, fermentation, and disposal. It introduces a new method of waste disposal which can be useful to people everywhere; houses, classrooms or offices. The book will tell you about the history of Bokashi. You can print out the pages of Bokashi Home Guide, Bokashi Food Waste Guide and Bokashi Quick Guide for reference. Learn the Bokashi Mantra: 'Collect, Dump, Squish, Sprinkle, Close; be mindful of Size and Moisture'. 
It is a very interesting and educative book. It tells you a lot about recycling food waste in your house. The author takes you through each step in a methodical way which can be comprehended easily. The history of Bokashi is also a good thing to know. Better Bokashi improvises on the the original method of Bokashi and gives the world the best composting methods of our times. The author also tells us the various benefits of Bokashi. The current Bokashi we see is just a twist on the ancient practice which was used in olden times.

The author has written it very well with pictures to make readers understand it better. It is direct and honest. It is a very useful book which helps readers to recycle the waste in a useful manner. An excellent book packed with information.

Great Read for the Environment Conscious Individual

I received a free copy of this book from storycartel.com. I am always looking for better/smarter ways to recycle and deal with the waste I create on a daily basis. Mr. Veri has written a how-to manual on just that. This book teaches you an easy, cost-effective way to deal with your food wastes that can be easily incorporated into your daily routine. Unlike with some other methods, the Bokashi method can be used in an apartment, condo, mobile home etc. I would highly recommend this book to anyone curious about a new, different way to compost that is more time and cost effective than other popular methods!

Wow, I had never heard of Bokashi before picking up this book over at Story Cartel. Though I won't claim that I completely understand the science, I found most of the jargon a'la MyCrobz accessible. After reading about the fundamental differences between the pros and cons of Bokashi vs. traditional composting methods, I felt like I understood it all better. The book was colorful, and fun. I would recommend this book for anyone who wishes to explore alternatives to traditional composting which can take up a lot of space.
